We invite you to a casual gathering for CMEC members and their friends!
Our theme is Sustaining Practices for the Mother-Teacher.
Our afternoon will be filled with life-giving ideas and encouragement:
An insightful talk from Celeste Cruz, a homeschooling mother of ten, on how Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of education offers a strong and flexible framework for mothers. Small group discussion to share common struggles and methods for forming habits, seeking leisure and rest, and accomplishing our educational goals. Time for brush drawing together—bring something in bloom! Light refreshments and social time with a display of notebooks from students and mothers.

This event is open to the public, so invite your friends! This event is planned as a special time for mothers, but, of course, nursing babies are welcome.
Registration is first come, first served and is non-refundable. We plan to close registration once spots have filled or on July 5th, whichever comes first.
A couple weeks before the event, we will send out an email with details on what to bring, directions and parking, a retreat pre-reading, etc.
Attendees will be required to sign a waiver at the door. You can view the waiver here.
We look forward to seeing you there!
